Paper, paper, everything paper.

Save the Dates

I really wanted to do something different with our Save the Date. I don't remember which Knottie I saw/stole this from. We had our photographer take a bunch of pictures of us holding up various signs with our date on it and used that to give people the date rather than just writing it on there. I think they came our pretty awesome. I ordered 4x8 photo cards from Vista with a 50% holiday discount and applied magnet strips to the back of the card on the top and bottom. In the center on the back I included the hotel information with pricing and amenities. I love how they came out and honestly didn't spend a lot putting it all together.

I wanted to dress up the envelopes and decided to run them through the printer with a matching design from the accommodation cards with the save the dates.

I had to get creative with the magnet application. Our refrigerator is stainless steel and doesn't stick for magnets so I used the washer and dryer to let the magnets "dry" and settle in.

Photo Share Cards

Thank you to KRHAGEN for being the inspiration to this design.

I designed this card in Adobe Photoshop and uploaded the image to Vistaprint. After signing up for E-mails from them, I received a coupon for 250 free business cards. The total cost to me on this order was $9.66. $3.99 to use my own image, and $5.67 for shipping and handling. I would have used a design from Vistaprint, but I'd really like all my paper products to be all matchy-matchy, so I paid the extra $4.

Shutterfly has a promotion going now. When you sign up, you get 45 free prints. If you add a photo sharing site, like this one, you get an additional 15 prints. For each member that you sign up after that, you get another 15 additional prints. Seems like a no-brainer to me. The site is incredibly easy to navigate and I've already ordered my first 45 free prints. :)

Day of Timeline

I got this idea from a project wedding bride (sorry Knot!!). Her name was Ashley and she graciously helped me with this project. Most of the graphics I got from free graphic websites like graphics4free.com, freegraphics.com, and graphicworld.com. I was originally going to print these myself and attach to cardstock matting but VistaPrint was having a sale and decided to just include the border on the design. Can't wait to see how they look printed. :)

Rehearsal Lunch Invites

Who doesn't love a rehearsal dinner invite covered with cheese? I mean, a CUTE poem? I had to throw at least one in. I did snatch this from another knottie, and I forget who at this point. But I love it.

The back is black and white and has a silouette of a bride and groom kissing and has the information for the church and the restaurant on it and our phone numbers in case anyone gets lost, which I doubt.

Signature Drink Menus

Thank you Cher1980 for being the inspiration here! We weren't really sure if we wanted to have a signature drink, but this idea really caught my eye and I think it'll be a nice touch at the wedding. I'm going to print it on white card stock and mount it to a black folded table tent. One will be at each bar and one at each table.

I plan on making it a little taller and will include "Hitt me with your best shot!" on the bottom.

Menus

Pretty straight forward here. I went back and forth over including the dessert items or not and decided to just put a very generic description on the bottom knowing that people would see everything there when it was brought out. The font is a combination of Feel Script and Nymphette. I wanted to do something that "matched" our H but nothing really did it for me. So I had to be a little creative. I'm going to mount them on orange and pink cardstock. Each table will have a different color.

Table Numbers

Picture
This is my inspiration picture. My table numbers are on metallic tangerine, watermelon and ivory card stock although it doesn't show up in my pictures. They are 8.5 by 7 for the colored card stock and 7 x 5.5 for the Ivory. I love the little rhinestone detailing. :)

I used vellum for the H and hearts on the outside of the paper in the front and the cross and hearts in the back of the program. They are held together with orange and pink ribbon at 1/8 inch thick from Michaels. I used Feel Script font for the swirly but you can use Brock Script (Actually, I think the H is Brock Script) or Freebooter and get the same general feeling. I've uploaded my program here in case you need a lay-out for the Catholic mass. This was super simple to put together.
