Flowers

When it came time to pick the flowers we would use for our wedding day, it was one of the least exciting tasks for me. My initial thought was that the money spent was too much for the little time the flowers live and aren't even remembered by your guests! I tossed around the idea of doing candelabra centerpeices and very minimal bouquets; perhaps just a few gerber daisies. I almost booked two florists before making this decision. With florists, I saw there was a huge difference between those who plan out of their houses, and those who have their own business, and those who work for someone elses business. I was very lucky to find a florist (from a knottie recommendation of course!) who could inspire me into choosing flowers that would mimic the feel of our wedding and still be budget friendly. Now, I'm VERY excited about our flowers and happy about the decision we made to keep flowers in the day.

I did FINALLY decide on using Stephanie from SK Floral Expressions. You can find more information about her flowers as well as TONS of inspiration pictures on their website.

Centerpeices

this is the closest to the one we'll actually be using. the side vases will be square, filled with pink hydrangea and there will be 3 since we have round tables. Orange ribbon around the base of the vase will bring in our other color.
